Susan Fuertes, Nathan Milliron and Sarah Robbins
Join Hughes Watters Askanase L.L.P.


HOUSTON, Texas (Feb. 13, 2012) – Susan Fuertes, Nathan Milliron and Sarah Robbins recently joined Hughes Watters Askanase L.L.P. (www.hwa.com) as associates.

Fuertes, who was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1994, supports clients of the firm’s Default Services Practice Area. Milliron works in the firm’s Commercial Litigation Practice Area with much of his work focused on representing lenders. He was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2004. Robbins, a 2010 State Bar of Texas licensee, also supports the Default Services Practice Area.


About Susan Fuertes

The main emphasis of Fuertes’ legal career has been consumer and business bankruptcy. She has represented creditors, bankruptcy trustees, and debtors. She also has experience in property tax collections, wills, probate, guardianship, and general civil litigation.

Prior to joining HWA, Fuertes worked as a property tax collections and bankruptcy attorney for Aldine Independent School District and supported her own clients as a solo practitioner. Fuertes previously was an associate with Baker & Hostetler, L.L.P. and with Barrett Daffin Frappier Turner & Engel, LLP.

Fuertes earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a minor in Speech Communication from Sam Houston State University and a Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law. She is a member of the Houston Bar Association and State Bar of Texas. Fuertes and her family reside in Pearland, Texas, a Houston suburb.

About Nathan Milliron

Milliron’s practice focus is civil litigation, including commercial litigation, banking law, and creditors’ rights. He worked on and successfully litigated a broad range of matters including banking and collection matters, breach of contract claims, and personal injury cases.

Prior to joining HWA, Milliron was an associate with Cersonsky, Rosen & Garcia, P.C. in Houston. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude, in business finance and a Business Pre-Law Certificate from Seton Hall University. He earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Houston Law Center. Milliron is a member of the American Bar Association, Houston Bar Association, and the State Bar of Texas. Milliron resides in the Houston suburb of Katy.

About Sarah Robbins

Robbins supports clients of the firm’s Default Services Practice Area specializing in litigation and contested evictions.

Before joining HWA, Robbins worked at Middagh & Lane of Sugar Land, Texas and Weston & Associates of Houston. Robbins earned a Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude, in advertising from the University of Texas where she was a Texas College Scholar for seven semesters. She earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Houston Law Center. Robbins is a member of the Houston Bar Association and the State Bar of Texas. She resides in the Galleria area.
